Message: I am in the middle of reading Andrew McMillan's book Catalina Dreaming (which I commend to you as a good PBY read)and I note a claim that a PBY operated by Quantas Empire Airways flying the original Kangaroo Route Perth to Ceylon stayed aloft for just over 32 hours. Even allowing for the fact that the aircraft in question was lighter than an armed PBY, that seems a lot to this old flyer. What do you think?
